3 month contract (looking to convert to full time after) for a Mail Services Specialist role with a leading client in Deerfield, IL area. APPLY NOW!

Pay : EXACT RATE NO FLEX- $22.50 / hour on w2

IV type : 1 rounds in person

Length : 3 months - goal is to convert to full time!

Must haves :

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Experience with Human Resource Management software is highly preferred
  • local to Deerfield, IL
  • must eb comfortable doing the following : Prepares, sorts & routes interoffice and inter-company mail. Picks up and delivers mail per assigned route and schedule. Sorts, weighs, meters and trays U.S. Mail AND Substitutes for other Mail Services employees (including Drivers) as needed.
  • Job Summary

    Responsible for mail preparation, mail pickup, delivery to various (client name removed) company locations and U.S. Post offices along with day-to-day Lettershop job tasks.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Prepares, sorts & routes interoffice and inter-company mail. Picks up and delivers mail per assigned route and schedule. Sorts, weighs, meters and trays U.S. Mail.
  • Substitutes for other Mail Services employees (including Drivers) as needed.
  • Participates in cross-training to learn tasks throughout the Mail Services department. Will independently perform tasks at 3 or more locations.
  • Bursts, bundles and delivers data reports on weekly / monthly basis.
  • Delivers paper orders on a timely basis. Monitors walk-up copiers to ensure supply rooms have paper and core office supplies.
  • Processes carrier shipments either through vendor equipment or via web-based applications, as needed.
  • Tracks and retrieves information on accountable mail at every step of delivery. Performs charge-back accountability function for accountable mail.
  • Performs daily Lettershop functions to ensure customer requests are met in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • Operates Lettershop equipment, as needed and maintains each piece so that downtime is minimized, including ink jet, inserter, BCC software, courier shipping stations, scanner, and pallet jacks. Working knowledge of Excel required.
  • Works to improve the quality and readability of mail list so postage expenditures and returned mail is minimized. Lays out postal code address lists, manipulates databases, lays out specifications for printing on various envelope stock.
  • Charges back inventory supplies when necessary, including copy paper, envelopes, and fulfillment materials.
  • Maintains knowledge of mail and shipping rules and methods to include USPS, courier, freight, and driver run mail.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of HazMat procedures. Investigates potentially hazardous shipments, as necessary, and leads resolution.

    Summary : The HRIS Coordinator is responsible for managing HR systems including data integrity audits, data analytics and system reporting. Additionally, this position is responsible to provide training, assist with Benefit Administration and HR Generalist duties within the organization.

    Possible additional Job Responsibilities :

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of position management positions by opening, modifying and closing boxes within the Org Hierarchy system
  • Perform reorganization of organization structures within Org Hierarchy system as needed
  • Perform update requests (New Hires and position changes) to transactional HRIS system for transferring employees from one company to another for the pool group
  • Act as a liaison to the EE?s by Coordinating and facilitating requests from hiring managers, recruiters and business partners
  • Ensure for seamless intra company transfer of EE?s by coordinating with HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits and HRSS
  • Work with Vendor to pull reports and make necessary changes in vendor system vs (client name removed)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • PowerPoint presentations based upon report outputs
  • Medium-high excel capabilities such as pivot tables and consolidation of various data points.
  • Communicate with various audiences such as HR / Finance team members
  • Multitask through various complex scenarios based upon system
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality based upon data integrity
