Family Law Attorney

We are seeking a full-time Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 2-4 years experience in family law litigation to join our firm in north metro-Atlanta.

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as lead counsel representing family law clients at every stage of litigation, from client intake to drafting pleadings, discovery, attending mediation, temporary hearings and final hearings.
• Provide excellent client service by being responsive and attentive to clients.
• Litigate aggressively when necessary to obtain best possible outcome for client.
• Manage and oversee support staff employee.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2-4 years of Family Law Litigation experience.

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia.

Must be proficient in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, contracts, discovery, proposed orders, as well as correspondence and memoranda.

Ability to effectively perform consultations with prospective clients.

Experience using law practice management and billing software.

Excellent problem-solving, communication and organization skills.
