Direct hire, with full benefits available. The Field Engineer I - Security Systems must be able to program and install security systems (Card Access, CCTV, CATV and Intrusion systems) per manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems in a senior service support role. That includes testing, troubleshooting of system components and functions and field verification of connections, labels, installation and work quality.
• Understands advanced system drawings, specifications and technical manuals. They will be able to create shop drawings and submittals for new project kick-off.
• Manages the technical work in the field with little supervision.
• Works both in house and in the field when required.
• Assumes ownership of project installation giving support to field staff and project manager. This includes providing advanced support for field installation staff.
• Assists with maintaining and completing project punch-list for project close outs.
• Oversees the technical aspects of projects.
• Performs quality-checks on the projects, tests all equipment and functionality and creates punch lists.
• Assists sales staff as needed with product and system demonstrations.
• Handles other responsibilities as assigned.

USD $35.00 / hr USD $50.00 / hr.
