Business Development Executive
We're recruiting a results-driven business development executive to fuel M&A pipelines for our client within the Financial Services sector. In this hunter role, you'll identify and qualify potential acquisition targets, engage directly with owners / founders, and open doors for institutional buyers. Key Responsibilities
- Run targeted, high-volume outreach to privately held companies across multiple sectors to source qualified opportunities.
- Lead discovery calls : assess financial profile, ownership, motives to transact, and timing.
- Build rapport with owners / C-suite; guide them through early exploration. Be consultative, not pushy.
- Qualify opportunities against revenue, profitability, growth, and deal fit. Document clearly in the CRM.
- Present buyer interest professionally and coordinate warm handoffs to the deal team.
- Track activity, conversion metrics, and pipeline health; share weekly insights.
- Promote collaboration and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Stay sharp on market dynamics, valuation trends, and deal activity.
