Reconciliation Specialist (Entry Level)

We are seeking a skilled Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in accounting and understanding of the reconciliation process. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial transactions are accurately matched and balanced.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile POS transactions to bank / credit card transactions using Excel, SAP, or Blackline.
• Copy information from POS files and create pivot tables to track store transactions.
• Ensure all financial files remain balanced and accurate.
• Conduct manual reconciliations in Excel due to ongoing software upgrades.
• Match invoices to payments to balance accounts.
• Create pivot tables with all relevant information, matching transaction numbers and amounts.

Work Environment

The position operates on a hybrid schedule, working from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm with a 1-hour lunch break. You will work four days in the office and one day from home, either Wednesday or Thursday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Wayne, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
