Patient Care Technician for Dialysis

Join our team as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) and play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of patients undergoing dialysis treatment. You will be part of a dedicated cross-functional team, providing essential care under the supervision of experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Charge Nurses (CNs) for individuals experiencing renal failure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care : Interact directly with patients to ensure they receive safe, comfortable, and top-notch dialysis treatment, including :
• Gathering vital patient statistics before and after treatment.
• Initiating and monitoring treatment sessions.
• Terminating treatment and collecting blood samples as ordered by physicians.
• Technician Duties : Maintain a high standard of care by :
• Preparing and cleaning dialysis machines, conducting safety checks, and logging results for quality control.
• Ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations.
• Safety and Quality : Apply appropriate safety measures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous education opportunities.
