Job Description Job Title Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Job Summary Labor and Delivery RNs needed at PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital for Per Diem assignments. Candidates must understand needs will be sporadic and may go weeks without a needed shift. Returning clinicians who have previously worked at PIH Health Systems must have a supervisor reference from their previous work at PIH. Submissions with 2 or more health system pipelines will be rejected. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to laboring patients and newborns. Circulating C-section skills Strong clinical assessment skills related to L&D and co morbidities of DM, Hypertension, Obesity, and Hemorrhage. Basic unit orientation, such as location of linen, medication carts, etc. Expected to work holidays Required Qualifications 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery CA RN License in hand BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced fetal Monitoring certifications Two direct supervisor references, updated within the last year and from work experience within the last 2 years. Must be from unit they are applying to. 1 reference must be included at the time of submission. Peer references are not accepted. Returning clinicians who have previously worked at PIH Health Systems must have a supervisor reference from their previous work at PIH. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with Allscripts EMD charting.
