Truck / Trailer Mechanic & CDL- Class A Driver

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanic with a CDL- Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. This is for our Bakersfield, CA location!

Shift Hours : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM (occasional Saturday's for optional overtime)

Pay Range : $27.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas :

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Must have a CDL-Class A license, with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
