Physician / Hospitalist / International / Permanent / Hospitalist- Acute Care Physician Job

Bermuda Hospitals Board is currently seeking board certified or the equivalent p hysician to join its highly regarded Hospitalist Service which is comprised of 7 full time physicians and 6 full time house staff physicians.

Duties include :

1.Function as the Internal Medicine Consultant to the emergency department, surgeons, obstetricians / gynecologists and other medical staff members on request.

2. Direct care to adult surgical and non-surgical hospitalized patients

3. Coordinate internal medicine subspecialty care

4. Provide coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week onsite responding within time frames established by the medical staff for emergent, urgent and routine requests; 8- and 12-hour shifts only.

5. Review all medical admissions with the house staff to ensure appropriate management.

6. Participate in the management of patients in the ICU
