About our property:

Originally opened in 1949, the Beachcomber's name captures the essence of the property. It's all about the beach. Put your toes in the sand and soak in the sun on 200 feet of private beachfront. As was the norm in the early iterations of Florida hotels, Beachcomber's rooms all open up to a lush courtyard featuring tropical gardens, pools, and endless spots to relax in the shade. What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Lobby / Public Space Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of all public areas throughout the resort. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming first impression and ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and team members.

Essential Job Functions

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobby, hallways, restrooms, and other shared guest spaces.
• Ensure public areas are consistently clean, stocked, and guest-ready throughout the shift
• Respond promptly to spills, trash, and guest service needs in public spaces.
• Follow established safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and other departments to support resort operations.
• Provide friendly, courteous service while upholding resort standards.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push carts weighing 75 lbs. for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
• Previous housekeeping or public area experience preferred but not required.
