Position : Warehouse Associate

What you’ll do :

  • Ensure all BOLs are completed for all LTLs and FTLs
  • Review all shipping instructions to minimize Freight Penalty opportunities
  • Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is organized and filed
  • Coordinate with Procurement on all incoming shipments to ensure all back orders are fulfilled on time
  • Ensure all warehouse shipments are created for the week
  • Create and maintain a report on shipments, costs, and timelines
  • Schedule inbound shipments (stock and vendor) and ensure Project Pulse is updated
  • Consolidate shipments in order to save shipment cost using Project Pulse
  • Ensure all BOL are attached to the correct shipments prior to loading the carriers
  • Add / create license plates for incoming shipments.
  • Deliver all mail received at dock to required personnel
  • Help ensure all electronic communications sent to Shipping and Receiving Department is answered in a timely manner
  • Perform any miscellaneous projects as directed
  • What you need :

  • Basic knowledge of Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Must have positive attitude, ability to work with limited supervision and desire to work hard
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position outlined below
  • Prior relevant experience preferred
  • High school diploma or a GED equivalent certificate required
  • Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Based out of our San Antonio, Texas, Monday-Friday 7 : 00am - 4 : 30pm
