EMT - Nibley / Millville

OVERVIEW

Cache County Corporation is seeking an EMT to join our Fire District. This is a part time position. The EMT responds to emergency medical calls and provides BLS - level patient assessment, treatment and care in accordance with Utah State EMS protocols and agency guidelines. This position promotes readiness, professionalism, and teamwork in all assigned duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stabilizes patients using appropriate inventions such as airway management, bleeding control, CPR / AED use, splinting and oxygen administration.
• Assists with packaging and transporting patients.
• Assists AEMTs and Paramedics with advanced care procedures within scope and under direction.
• Completes accurate, timely, and professional patient care reports and required documentation.
• Communicates clearly with dispatch, partner agencies, and receiving facilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience : High School Diploma or equivalent; AND One (1) year of job-related training.
