Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst (BSA) with a strong combination of functional and technical expertise to support data-driven and machine learning projects within the banking domain.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker, data analytics, and machine learning solutions, and will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.

Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.

Work closely with data engineering and data science teams on machine learning model integration using AWS SageMaker.

Analyze and manage large datasets for insights and business impact.

Support data pipeline development, data validation, and performance tracking.

Participate in Agile ceremonies - sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business objectives.

Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize banking operations, improve efficiency, and drive automation.

Document workflows, processes, and system functionality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst or similar role.

Strong understanding of functional and technical analysis within IT or financial services environments.

Experience in data analytics, machine learning, and cloud-based solutions.

Hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker or other AWS ML services.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.

Solid understanding of banking or financial services domain.

Experience in Agile / Scrum methodology.

Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in data modeling, data visualization (Tableau / Power BI), or Python scripting.

Exposure to AI / ML lifecycle management in cloud environments.

Prior experience working with PNC or other major financial institutions.
