The Travel Nurse RN provides specialized care in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, requiring expertise in cardiac nursing and critical care. With a contract length of 13 weeks, the role demands strong experience in telemetry nursing, including proficiency in administering cardiac medications. Candidates must hold a valid WI RN license and have recent Epic charting experience to fulfill the requirements of this demanding position.

Job Details

Job Title : CTU / Step Down RN (Cardiac Telemetry Unit) - Aspirus Wausau Hospital - Wausau, WI.

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : 3 / 10 / 25

Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 36

Shift Requirements : 12 hours NOCS 1900-0730

Float Requirements : Float to all inpatient units as needed.

On Call / Call Back Requirements : none

Weekend / Holiday Requirements : Every other weekend. Every other holiday

Job Requirements

Required Certifications : WI RN License, BLS and ACLS

Minimum Experience : 2 years IMC / PCU / Tele experience required and MUST HAVE 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE (Cardiac SDU / Intermediate Cardiac / Cardiac ICU)

Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips

Required : at least ONE travel assignment must be completed

Charting : 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required

Additional Details

Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates : Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
