Located right near the Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI, we teach eligible young people from underserved communities the skills they need to become employable and independent and place them in meaningful jobs or further education. Our center specializes in Culinary Arts, Welding / Construction, Electronics Engineering, and Clinical Medical Assistant training.
EMPLOYMENT AT EXETER JOB CORPS

POSITION SUMMARY :
This individual is responsible for providing students with industry recognized Medical Assistant instruction including taking vital signs, assisting providers with exams and procedures, EKG, phlebotomy, updating electronic health records and more. These skills will lead to the students obtaining full-time jobs, higher education or advanced training.
SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am-3 : 30pm
Training day runs from 8 : 00am-3 : 30pm. Scheduled 15 minute breaks take place at 9 : 45am and 2 : 00pm and there is a 1 hour break for lunch for a total of 6 hours worked. Substitute Instructors are paid a flat rate of $125 per day .
