About The Position

Location : Avon, Colorado, USA Specialty : Clinic Type : Travel Schedule : 4x10s Days Time : 13 Weeks

Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for a Travel Medical Assistant in Avon, CO. This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $1,200, based on four 10-hour day shifts (32 hours guranteed out of the 40 hours per week).

    • Key Responsibilities of a Travel Medical Assistant :

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including sanitizing and restocking supplies.
  • Record patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.

    • Requirements for the Travel Medical Assistant :

  • Valid Colorado state licensure
  • 2 years' experience as an Medical Assistant
  • Current BLS and any of the following certifications (CMA, AAMA, RMA, AMT NCMA, CCMA and MAC)
