Pay Information $2,002 per week About The Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty : Acute Care Duration : 17 weeks Shift : 12 Hours Nights Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years in specialty License : Required Certifications : BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have : Two years of experience in Med Surg specialty Description : Strict 75-mile radius from the traveler's driver's license to the hospital. Must provide the address for submission verification. Minimum two years of experience in specialty required. The unit has 44 beds and 40 staff members. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 5, possibly 1 : 6 for both days and nights. Experience with EMR preferred but not required. Nurse aides are available with ratios of 1 : 8, generally 1 : 10, and sitters are provided. Shifts run from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM, totaling 12 hours. Weekend and holiday requirements are every other week as needed. Scrub color is Caribbean Blue. Telemetry is available but monitored on a different unit. Nurses may float to all acute care units and cardio, as well as EC for acute care patient holds. General orientation lasts one week and includes EMR training. Floor-specific orientation is two days.
