Automotive Electrical Technician

Job Summary :

The role of the Automotive Electrician is to perform a wide range of service work related to the customization of vehicles for pursuit vehicles.  Technicians must be familiar with emergency vehicle lighting systems and related first-responder equipment.

Job Duties :

• Perform quality installations of emergency lighting and accessories on all makes and model vehicles.
• Installation and assembly of after-market equipment and accessories, meeting allotted time requirements
• Performs wiring of emergency lights, camera systems, partitions, push bumpers, and miscellaneous accessory components
• Troubleshooting electronic, interior, exterior and mechanical systems
• Follows manufacturer’s specifications for installation of components and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
