A company is looking for a Scientific Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct data analysis and GIS

Develop software using Python, manage databases, and implement version control practices

Work with geospatial applications and mapping standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Marine Science, Engineering, Biology, Oceanography, or related field

5+ years of related experience

Experience with software development, particularly in Python and integrated development environments

Proficiency in version control software such as Git and container-based development platforms like Docker

Knowledge of geospatial data systems and digital cartography
