Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Leader to join our Automation Systems Division. The role involves overseeing and managing successful project execution for clients, requiring a strong background in project management, automation systems, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution : Lead automation projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence. Collaborate with clients and teams to define requirements, develop plans, monitor progress, and manage risks.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration : Lead engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a collaborative culture and managing team performance. Work with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated automation solutions.
- Client Relationship Management : Build strong client relationships, serve as the main contact, and communicate project status effectively.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance : Ensure projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through inspections and audits. Drive continuous improvement.
- Budget and Resource Management : Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and collaborate with procurement to source materials and subcontractors.
- Travel Requirements : Be open to travel, approximately 25%, for on-site visits and meetings.
- Automation Systems Expertise : Possess technical knowledge of automation hardware and apply industry standards. Provide technical guidance and resolve complex issues.
Qualifications
Experience with automation systems hardware and software.Willingness to learn and grow in leadership roles.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Proficiency in Primavera P6 CPM Scheduling or similar.Ability to obtain security clearances.Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams.Financial literacy and project financial reporting experience.Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Project management certifications (PMP, CAP) preferred.Education / Experience
Master's in engineering with 5-7 years of experience or Bachelor's with 7-9 years.Abilities
Extended screen time, sitting, reaching, finger dexterity, listening, speaking, reading, applying rules, understanding speech, attending meetings, possessing a driver's license, and vehicle for travel.Benefits
