GoodBulb is looking for a talented Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Engineer to help bring our LED light bulb manufacturing home, with a commitment to innovation, quality, and impact.

About the Role : As our SMT Engineer, you'll play a vital role in setting up, maintaining, and optimizing our SMT equipment and processes. You'll be instrumental in creating high-quality, American-made LED bulbs that offer energy-efficient, eco-friendly lighting solutions for homes and businesses. Your expertise will directly contribute to the launch of a sustainable, American-manufactured product line, where precision and reliability are paramount. You will be a leader for America\'s Only LED Light Bulb Factory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain SMT Processes : Set up and fine-tune SMT equipment, ensuring smooth, high-quality production lines.
  • Optimize for Quality and Efficiency : Troubleshoot, analyze, and enhance SMT processes for peak performance, focusing on quality control and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Production Teams : Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve seamless integration of SMT processes with assembly and packaging automation.
  • Drive Innovation : Pioneer new techniques and ideas to keep GoodBulb at the forefront of American-made LED technology.
  • Quality Assurance : Monitor and enforce high standards in line with GoodBulb's commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience with SMT equipment and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for sustainable manufacturing and domestic production.
  • A spirit of innovation and a desire to create a legacy in lighting technology.
