Description
PromptCare is seeking a results-driven Account Executive with a background in respiratory therapy and / or home care to join our dynamic Sales Team. This senior-level role is responsible for driving growth in respiratory products and services by building strong relationships with healthcare providers, institutions, and referral sources. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of increasing referrals, mentoring clinical sales teams, and exceeding sales targets through strategic business development.
As a key representative of the company, the Account Executive will support the Director of Sales in guiding Clinical Respiratory Liaisons, promoting core services, and expanding market presence. Experience in hospital-based respiratory sales or related industries such as Home Health or Infusion is essential. Job Type : Non-Exempt, Full-time
Location : Miami County, FL and nearby areas within a 50-mile radius or approximately a two-hour drive
Requirements
- A respiratory therapist with a current RCP state licensure is required
- Experience working with health systems selling respiratory services
- Must have medical sales experience
- Valid driver's license and good driving record of 3 years minimum
- Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills. Must be self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to deal with referral source and physician expectations
- Must have adequate PC skills to use e-mail and update nursing notes and other documentation electronically in a timely manner
- Strong work ethic and desire to serve our referral sources and patients and to grow the business
- Able to work longer than normal hours with little or no notice, as needed
Job Responsibilities
Supports the Director of Sales with the development and implementation of Clinical Programs with best practices in assigned marketEvaluates referral sources satisfaction and develops branch opportunities to improve customer satisfactionInitiates and develops good working relationships with referral sources and physicians to drive increased referralsMaintains strong knowledge of PromptCare's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensures that they are applied consistentlyMaintains compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and SOPs at all timesConducts activities with a mindset of delivering "white glove" service to the referral sources and patients / family membersProjects a positive attitude at all times with referral sources and patients / family members and gets involved in PromptCare's employee activitiesAttend staff meetings, teleconferences and patient care conferences as neededUnderstand and follow PromptCare's employee policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedPhysical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing 20 pounds at minimum and no more than 35 pounds.
