The Johns Hopkins Hospital Cardiovascular Surgical ICU (CVSICU) is an 18-bed unit that provides care for patients who are recovering from cardiac surgery cardiac transplantation lung transplantation the placement of ventricular assist devices and other complex procedures. We receive patients directly from the operating room and manage their needs through their intensive care phase. It is a very fast paced unit driven through teamwork and collaboration within a highly competent multidisciplinary team to provide the best care possible to this specialized patient population. We pride ourselves on training the best of the best in a learning environment where our team can develop and grow. We always welcome new members and fresh ideas. Please come join our amazing team.
