Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Shift Information : Days 7a - 7 : 30p Experience : Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and / or Stepdown experience Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips Telemetry competency test will be administered on Day 1 (failure will result in termination) EMR Proficiency : Must be current and proficient in Epic EMR No refresher training or 1 : 1 support will be provided Lack of Epic proficiency will result in termination Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac / Med-Surg Float (Day Shift) Location : Genesis Health System Start Date : December 15th (Only available start date unless RN is a returning Genesis traveler within the last 9 months) Schedule : 36 hours / week | 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM | Every other weekend required Call Requirement : None Position Summary The Registered Nurse will primarily be assigned to the 4 South Cardiac Unit and will occasionally float to various Medical-Surgical units , including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED / Med-Surg boarders. The RN will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Requirements Licensure : Active RN license in good standing Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required Additional Information This is a day shift position (7a–7 : 30p) with every other weekend required. No on-call requirement. Must meet all outlined experience and competency requirements prior to start.
