- 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
- Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
- Travel experience is required from any number of months.
- 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
- Diploma completion required Requirements :
- Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required for submission).
- This role will require floating to multiple units
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details : Required Skills / Experience : Independent IV starts and lab draws from IV start, accurate vaginal exams, provide labor support, fetal monitor strip interpretation according to NICHD guidelines, strong ability to multi-task, communicate, comfortable with asking questions, and easily adapts to a new unit. We typically do not assign travelers to the triage role and do not require them to circulate unless they have previous experience. Can be 2nd RN in OR if they have experience and are comfortable with OR. Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit :
- Antepartum, Laboring, post-partum. We have a level 3 NICU so take patients that require a higher level of care.

- If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations. Shift & Scheduling :
- Weekend rotation : Every other weekend as needed
- On Call Requirement : 24 hours of call per 4-week schedule period
