Kentucky APEX Accelerator Communications & Contract Management Intern
The Kentucky APEX Accelerator is looking for a highly detail-oriented and self-motivated student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program to join our professional team and assist with a range of projects related to internal and external communication, marketing, financials, and contract management.
In this paid internship offered in partnership with the UK Federal Work Study Program, you will work closely with our program's Executive Director, Procurement Communications Strategist, and finance team. You will gain valuable real-world experience in a dynamic nonprofit environment while contributing to our mission of promoting economic development across Kentucky.
This role is available for the Spring 2026 semester, with potential to renew the internship for the 2026-2027 School Year following an end-of-term review. The earliest start date for the role will be Monday, January 12. We will review applications on a rolling basis and will keep the position posted until filled.
About the Kentucky APEX Accelerator :
The mission of the Kentucky APEX Accelerator is to promote Kentucky's economic development by helping companies navigate the complex world of government contracting. We are a statewide program serving all 120 counties from nine regional office locations. Our parent organization, the Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation (KSTC), is a nonprofit organization partially funded by the Department of Defense and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.
