Description

The Construction Engineer (CIP) is responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of assigned civil engineering construction contracts to ensure timely completion compliance with project specifications and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role involves conducting detailed site inspections verifying contractor performance and ensuring that all work aligns with the organizations plans specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include conducting substantial completion and final inspections to confirm that all project deliverables meet established standards and that documentation is in order for final acceptance. The Construction Engineer ensures that all contract documentation is prepared correctly for issuance and advertisement coordinates with the Real Estate and Procurement departments on property and documentation requirements and facilitates the issuance of the Notice to Proceed once the conditions are met.

Additionally the Construction Engineer supports the Authoritys Safety Engineer by enforcing compliance with safety protocols and ensuring contractors maintain safe work environments. This position requires strong technical expertise in civil construction effective coordination and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strict attention to project timelines compliance and quality.

Requirements

Education / Experience

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.

Seven (7) years of experience in directing managing and administering large civil and structural engineering and construction programs in an operational environment.
