Part-Time Periodontist – Plainville, CT

A well-established dental practice in Plainville, CT is seeking a part-time Periodontist to join its experienced and supportive clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and personable specialist who is passionate about patient care and excited to contribute to the growth of a thriving practice.

This practice is part of a leading multi-specialty dental organization with a strong regional presence and centralized support services. As part of this larger group, the practice benefits from robust administrative infrastructure, clinical mentorship, continuing education, and operational efficiencies that allow providers to focus on exceptional patient care.

About the Practice :

Serving the community since 1971

Payer Mix : 50% PPO / 50% FFS

Flexible schedule : 1–2 days per month

4,500 active patients

6 doctor operatories / 6 hygiene operatories

Advanced technology : Cone Beam CT, iTero scanner, Overjet AI diagnostics

Beautiful, modern facility with spacious operatories, dedicated consult room, lab, and sterilization areas

Ideal Candidate :

DDS / DMD from an accredited dental program

Completion of an accredited Periodontics residency

Active Connecticut dental license in good standing

Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience preferred

Proficiency in all aspects of periodontics, including implants, grafting, and non-surgical therapies

Compassionate chairside manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills

A team player with a growth mindset and a desire to continue learning

Willing to participate in-network with insurance providers, as needed

Compensation & Benefits :

Annual earning potential : $100,000 – $180,000 , based on production

Strong minimum daily guarantee plus a competitive percentage of collections

Malpractice insurance coverage provided
