Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Flowood, MS 39232 (Rankin County, near Jackson, Mississippi)

Assignment Length : 8 weeks

Start Date : December 29, 2025

End Date : February 23, 2026

Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,720 - $1,840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Mississippi or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Fetal Monitoring certification

Must reside at least 50 miles from the healthcare facility (permanent address)

All required nursing certifications must be submitted with application

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit

Monitor fetal and maternal health, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and respond to clinical changes promptly

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Administer medications, assist with deliveries, and provide postpartum nursing care

Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care best practices

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
