Pay : $23.00 / hour

Shift : 2nd shift, Monday – Friday, 3 : 00PM - 12 : 00AM

Job summary :

This is a second-shift, and 3rd shift responsibility position. To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be familiar with sanitation practices, understand the proper use of sanitation and cleaning chemicals, and adhere to the chemical list approved by the Sanitation Manager. Following the current standard sanitation operating procedures (SSOP), the use of Personal protective equipment (PPE) and other policies are applicable to provide the best service to the production and warehouse team. The Sanitation Lead must be proactive, motivated, and communicate opportunities for improvement to the team. Individuals must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Duties :

• Responsible for the visual pre-operational inspection of the production lines and conducting the ATP swabs during the pre-operational inspection as needed.
• Conduct the environmental monitoring sampling and new equipment sampling for Hygiena Insite laboratory testing. Send samples to the laboratory promptly.
• Prepare and conduct air quality testing, compressed air testing, and nitrogen quality testing.
• Recordkeeping for the Master sanitation schedule (MSS), janitorial, and sanitation quality checks. Records verification. Follow-up with sanitation employees to address corrective actions, comments, or questions.
• Responsible for the Food Ready Quality Systems (QM) monitoring and updates.
• Collaborates with the Sanitation Manager regarding to Sanitation standards, GMP’s, SOP’s, SSSOP’s, and Sanitation instructions as needed.
• Supervise chemical delime for the dish machine and the dilution system. Prepare peracetic acid sanitizer as needed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, buckets, trash cans, and other tools as required. Operate an auto floor scrubber to clean wash bay floors and other areas.
• Conduct titration and chemical concentration checks.
• Keep inventory control of chemicals and supplies.
• Supervise tasks on the floor for janitorial, sanitation production, and wash bay area.
• Lift equipment or machinery for cleaning and sanitizing.
• May clean other areas of the facility as required.
