JOB DESCRIPTION

Develops high level design for solutions. Develops artifacts to be used be used in downstream SDLC phases. Leads technical resources during the Detailed Design and Development phase, leading the team from design to solution deployment. Coordinates technical aspects of deployment, including hardware environments, certification, and software deployment.

Position Summary

The IT Architect - is responsible for the technical alignment and quality of 4 to 5 projects in the Commercial Operations Group. The role designs solutions that are compliant with architectural standards and processes. The architect leads technical implementation of solutions and delivery.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Develop high level and detail level technical designs for solutions - to satisfy business requirements.

2. Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of solution implementation, including application, database, security, infrastructure deployment.

3. Adhere to architectural processes and standards and contributes and develops new standards definitions when required.

4. Ensure high quality delivered solutions with limited risk that and can be seamlessly assimilated into operational support models.

5. Pursue solution and operational enhancements and innovation to provide continuous improvement.

6. Ensure regulatory and security compliance for new and existing solutions.

7. Work with vendors for service delivery and evaluating and implementing new technologies.
