Shift : Day, 3x12s (06 : 45–19 : 15 or 08 : 45–21 : 15)

Job Overview

A large community hospital in Modesto, CA is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join their Cardiology team. This role involves scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures. Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills, advanced hemodynamic knowledge, and the ability to work in a high-acuity setting.

Schedule

  • Shift : Day – 3x12s (06 : 45–19 : 15 or 08 : 45–21 : 15)
  • Call Required : Yes – 8–12 call shifts per month
  • Weekend Call : 1 weekend per month
  • Block Scheduling : Not available
  • Orientation : 40 hours

    • Requirements

  • Experience : Minimum 5 years Cath Lab experience
  • Travel Experience : Required
  • Certifications :

    • ARRT or CCI RCIS (required)

  • California State License (required)
  • ACLS & BLS (required)
  • Preferred : California Radiologic Technologist License (ARRT CA)

    • Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor Cath Lab procedures
  • Set up and maintain a sterile field
  • Perform accurate hemodynamic and EKG monitoring
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including :

    • Left and right heart catheterizations

  • PCI / PTCA and stent placements
  • IABP and Impella insertion
  • TAVR / TAVI
  • Watchman
  • Rotablator Atherectomy
  • Pacemaker insertions
  • Manage and maintain fluoroscopy equipment, PACS, and lab inventory
