COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS POLICE DEPARTMENT IS TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR LATERAL POLICE OFFICERS. POLICE OFFICER - LEO CERTIFIED / FULL-TIME. CLOSING DATE : Open until filled. Will be reviewing applications on November 7th, 2025. PAY RATE / HOURLY : $32.55- $49.16 depending on experience, education, and certifications. Typically, year-for-year.

This position works under the direction of a department sergeant; and performs patrol, investigations, traffic regulation, and related law enforcement activities.

COMPENSATION :
The pay range for full-time police officers is $32.55 - $49.16 per hour, depending on experience, education, and certifications. Previous years of experience and certifications will be considered when negotiating pay, at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL IS PAID FOR AFTERNOON SHIFTS 2% AND GRAVES 5%.
