Marketing Project Coordinator
Industry : Fortune 500 Telecommunications Company
Location : Philadelphia, PA (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Duration : 6-month contract w / opportunity to extend
Pay rate : $25-$28 / hr
Responsible for supporting the complete life cycle of simple-complex projects, including approval, planning, execution and closeout to ensure planned results are achieved on time. Develops timelines and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracks critical project achievements. Works with vendors and team to establish and achieve goals. Coordinates the activities of a cross-functional team including Resource Planning for exempt and non-exempt employees. Has experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Acts as resource for colleagues with similar experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains and manages detailed project plans and milestone timelines for all assigned projects.
- Holds multiple teams accountable for the timing execution and seamless delivery of respective contributions.
- Communicates program status, actions required and completed to stakeholders and ensures goals are met in areas including but not limited to creative, Public relations, technical operations, and partnership negotiations. Monitors and creates project deliverables, facilitates project meetings.
- Oversees full end to end lifecycles of multiple workstreams that ladder into overarching program.
- Works with team as a single point of contact, working cross functionally to negotiate solutions and communicate with stakeholders.
- Coordinates with team leads on day-to-day support, adhering to established processes as needed.
- Uses formal processes and tools to track documentation of approvals, compliance or requirements.
- Coordinates with other work streams, projects and initiatives which may impact successful completion of project.
- Manages or supports team on all assigned projects to completion.
- Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and / or options to manager. Ensures effective implementation of solutions / changes.
Ideal Candidates
Has a passion for marketing, paired with strong organizational and communication skills.Thrives on being part of a team driving effective cross-function collaboration in planning and execution of strategic marketing projects aligned to the business’ overall strategy.Has proficiency in Smartsheet, Workfront, Microsoft 365.Has 3-5 years of Project Management Experience.Enjoys building relationships, transparency, and accountability in a fast-paced environmentAbility to track the creative development process across conception, production, delivery, and trafficking phases.Excellent communication skills for multi audience updates.
