Unit Overview – Labor & Delivery (707)

Number of Beds : 16

Total Staff : ~120

Day Shift Team : Charge Nurse, PCT, CST, RN

Night Shift Team : Charge Nurse, PCT, CST, RN

Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 depending on acuity

Equipment : Baxter Pumps, Philips Electronic Fetal Monitoring

EMR : Cerner and Fetal Ink

Common Procedures : Vaginal Deliveries

Cesarean Sections

Dilation & Curettage (D&C)

Cerclage

Classical Hysterectomy (C-Hyst)

Preferred Candidate Profile :

Must-Have Skills :

Minimum 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

Experience with high-risk deliveries

Competency in immediate newborn care

Preferred Skills :

Circulating experience (especially in C-sections)

Ideal Personality Fit :

Outgoing and approachable

Team-oriented and adaptable

Calm under pressure

Certifications Required :

BLS / ACLS

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN or equivalent)

Additional Details :

Floating Areas : MFMU, MOMB, NICU

Scrub Color : Provided by facility

Weekends / On-Call : Not required (available upon approval)
