Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Accountant or Auditor located in Jefferson City, MO. The Tax Accountant or Auditor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting financial audits, performing compliance checks, and advising clients on tax strategies. The role involves analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. The candidate will collaborate with clients to understand their financial objectives and offer tailored solutions to achieve their goals.

Qualifications

Tax preparation and / or financial auditing skills

Experience in compliance checks and tax strategies

Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and record maintenance

Strong understanding of relevant tax regulations and laws

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA certification is a plus
