Compensation: Competitive base salary + biannual bonuses (typically $5,000–$10,000 every six months; varies by performance and project load)

About the Role
IPD Engineering is seeking a Project Manager to lead MEP design projects within the Syracuse market. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys both the technical and interpersonal sides of the profession — managing projects, leading teams, and cultivating client relationships.
The Project Manager will oversee all phases of design and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with client expectations. While business development experience is valued, this position is primarily focused on executing and managing existing work within the region.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of MEP design.
Coordinate directly with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring successful delivery.
Mentor junior engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and leadership.
Support ongoing client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities.
Participate in design review meetings and ensure quality control throughout project development.
Preferred Qualifications
8–10+ years of experience in mechanical or MEP engineering, including project management.
Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Proficiency in Revit preferred; AutoCAD experience a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
