The Freelance Art Director designs images and visuals formagazines, newspapers, product packaging, and other communication media as well as assists inbranding for our clients and works on new business pitches.

PLEASE NOTE : This open role is for our part-time / hourly freelance community. As a freelancer,you’ll work on a project-by-project basis as needed.

What you’ll do :

The Art Director will oversee the design and layout of images and visuals for magazines, newspapers,

product packaging, and other communication media.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Consults with clients to determine the artistic approach and style of a project.
• Decides how to best represent an idea visually.
• Oversees the creation of an overall look for a project.
• Reviews and approves sample designs, artwork, photography, and graphics.
• Prepares, implements, and oversees department budget.
• Establishes timeline for projects and ensures deadlines are met.
• Presents designs to clients for approval.

Required Skills / Abilities :

Job Type : FREELANCE / Project Based

Required experience : 3+ years Advertising Agency Experience

Required education : Bachelor’s degree

Hourly Rate : starting at $20 – $60 / hour
