Job description

Project Description :

System, hardware and software integration, commissioning of the driver interaction, infotainment and data management system as well as the provision, operation and further development of test infrastructure and test automation for Porsche AG projects.

Responsibilities :

Setup & Maintenance :

  • Build and maintain test infrastructure for II&D systems and vehicle-level test environments.
  • Ensure mechanical and electrical robustness, longevity, and ease of use.
  • Implement automation and remote access capabilities for test infrastructure.

Data & Measurement :

  • Integrate precise measurement instruments and data acquisition systems.
  • Ensure secure storage and analysis of test data in compliance with Porsche IT standards.
  • Documentation & Accessibility :

  • Create and maintain technical documentation (e.g., pinning plans, wiring diagrams).
  • Provide physical access and workstations for project stakeholders while ensuring security and confidentiality.
  • Software & Configuration :

  • Perform hardware and software updates, initial and follow-up commissioning.
  • Configure IT infrastructure including licenses, data packages, backend settings, and mobile devices.
  • Mobile Device Management :

  • Provision and configure smartphones for testing, including app setup and data management.
  • Coordinate device handover and return, and extract data for analysis when needed.
  • Continuous Improvement :

  • Develop and optimize tools and methods for test infrastructure setup and operation.
  • Incorporate AI-based solutions for efficiency and reliability improvements.
  • Mandatory Skills Description :

  • Setting up measurement equipment
  • Experience with Dataloggers (TTTech, GIN)
  • HW / SWupdates
  • Education : technician in mechatronics
  • Mechanical skills (drilling, sawing, soldering).
  • Experience in working with vehicle electrics
  • Electrical Installation
  • Mechanical installation
  • CANoe Infrastructure
  • Nice-to-Have Skills Description :

  • Knowledge of VW-specific tools and systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence, KPM)
  • Experience with automotive systems, especially infotainment or II&D systems
  • Experience with HighVoltage in vehicles
  • Vehicle Testing experience
  • HardwareInTheLoop (HIL) Testing Experience
  • Familiarity with AI-based diagnostic or automation tools.
  • Experience with mobile device configuration and app management
