Experience in dental procedures, radiographs, and prophylaxis is preferred—but we're happy to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow in this specialty field.

    • Key Responsibilities
    • Assist in all phases of dental procedures—from patient intake through recovery
    • Safely induce, monitor, and manage anesthesia with confidence and precision

    • Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis) and assist with charting
    • Support veterinarians during advanced dental and oral surgery procedures
    • Educate clients on at-home dental care and post-operative instructions
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area
    • Uphold hospital safety standards, infection control, and best practices in patient handling
    • Maintain dental equipment and process instruments for sterilization
    • Contribute to a collaborative, team-based work environment
    • Support continuing education and mentorship within the dentistry department
    • Qualifications
    • Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, or LVT) license in good standing
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in veterinary medicine (required)
    • Basic knowledge of dental radiographs and prophylaxis techniques
    • Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring and patient care
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Passion for veterinary dentistry and continuing education
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
    • Commitment to patient comfort, safety, and quality care
    • Preferred Skills (not required)
    • Familiarity with specialty or emergency hospital workflows.
