The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following :
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and forecasting to support sustainable growth and profitability.
- Oversee accounting, finance, data analytics, compliance, and IT functions.
- Manage banking relationships, capital planning, and cash flow optimization.
- Develop and maintain rolling financial forecasts and long‑term strategic financial plans.
- Provide financial oversight for land acquisition, development, and operational projects.
- Build and enhance the company’s financial planning and analysis function, improving budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
- Advance the organization’s data infrastructure and promote data‑driven decision making.
- Partner cross‑functionally with department heads to align operational and financial objectives.
- Mentor and develop a high‑performing finance and analytics team.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and risk management frameworks.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within residential construction or real estate development (including single‑family, apartment, multi‑family etc).Proven success in strategic financial planning, capital structure management, and operational finance.Strong understanding of land development, entitlement, and project financing.Demonstrated experience leading teams and fostering collaboration across departments.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.Low‑ego, humble, and team‑oriented leadership style.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.Equal Opportunity Employer
