Job Summary & Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive healthcare services to pediatric patients (birth to 18 years).
Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and administer immunizations.
Conduct well-child exams, developmental screenings, and preventive care visits.
Monitor patient growth and development to promote overall well-being.
Educate patients and families on preventive care, nutrition, and disease management.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including histories, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Adhere to all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and ethical standards.
Education, Licensure, and Experience :
Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), or Pediatric Physician Assistant (PA) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of a Pediatric Residency Program (for MDs / DOs) or pediatric-focused training (for PNPs / PAs).
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (or respective certification for PNPs / PAs).
Active, unrestricted Texas medical license.
Minimum of 3 years of pediatric clinical experience required.
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory (90% of patients are Hispanic).
Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
