The Ideal Candidate :
- Clinical Experience : One to three years of endocrinology clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
- Diagnostic Skills : Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of endocrinology conditions with a focus on improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities :
Patient Evaluation :Review patients history and perform a physical examination, maintaining complete and accurate medical records.
Conduct physical evaluation and diagnostic tests to determine diagnosis and provide appropriate treatment and patient care plan.Endocrinology Care :Diagnose and treat patients with a variety of hormonal diseases and conditions related to the endocrine systems.
Provide comprehensive, cost-effective diabetes care with the available support of CDE / RD services.Management Recommendations :Recommend suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits.
Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.Patient-Centered Care :Provide relationship-centered care, taking into account the patients psychosocial and physical needs.
Collaboration and Communication :Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care.
Share on-call phone answering responsibilities with other Endocrinologists, presently on or about every six weeks rotation basis.Educational Participation :Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings.
Qualifications :
Degree : Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or foreign equivalent.Residency : Completion of three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.Fellowship : Completion of two-year postgraduate medical training from an accredited fellowship program in the area of practice (e.g., Endocrine, Diabetes, and Metabolism Medicine).Experience : Open to both experienced and newly trained providers.Certification : Board Eligible / Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.License : Must possess current, unrestricted New York State license.Registration : Must possess Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.Enrollment : Must possess Medicare / Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.Certification : BLS or ACLS certification required.Communication Skills : Must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written.Technology Comfort : Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.Competitive Benefit Package :
