PCGH, Inc. (formerly Person County Group Homes) provides residential and community-based support for adults with intellectual / developmental disabilities (I / DD) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) in Roxboro, NC. Our mission is simple : Enhancing Lives, Promoting Independence.

Now Hiring : Full-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Fixed Schedule

Schedule :

  • Two set weekdays (approx. 7 : 00 a.m.–8 : 00 p.m.)
  • Every other weekend : 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday

Starting Pay : $13.00+ per hour, based on placement and experience

Requirement : Must be legally eligible to drive in North Carolina and able to drive a company van when needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable DSP to work in a group home setting with a consistent weekday / weekend schedule. This role focuses on supporting residents through daily transitions—mornings, afternoons, and evening routines—helping ensure stability and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, daily living support, and medication reminders
  • Assist with transitions to and from day programs
  • Support meal preparation, evening care, and household upkeep
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with staff
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and clean home environment

    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not necessary (we provide full training)
  • Eligible to drive in North Carolina (required)
  • Willingness to work a fixed weekday and weekend schedule
  • Dependable team player with strong communication skills
