Job Summary
The Mobile Fleet Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of vehicles at various locations. This role ensures vehicles are safe, reliable, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on fleet vehicles.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on vehicles.
Perform tire changes, brake repairs, and other essential vehicle maintenance tasks.
Respond to service calls and provide mobile repairs at customer or company locations.
Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and parts used.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and DOT regulations.
Keep tools, equipment, and service vehicles clean and organized.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding service updates and issues.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an automotive, diesel, or fleet technician.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
Knowledge of tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently in various locations.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; CDL preferred for certain fleets.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physically capable of lifting heavy parts and working in varied weather conditions.
