Responsibilities Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit in an acute care setting Care for high-risk OB with a culturally diverse patient population Night shift with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week from 18 : 00 to 06 : 30 Every other weekend required RNs circulate on cesarean sections Floating required within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals nearby Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience required First-time travelers are accepted for this position Must be willing to float between assigned facilities as needed Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year Scrub attire : any solid color, typically Royal Blue or Navy Pre-assignment modules required and completed before start RTO must be discussed and included at time of submission Free parking provided on first day with assignment parking designated during orientation A culturally sensitive approach is important due to patient demographics Housing options in the area may be limited Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of consideration At least 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable setting Must not have worked at the facility as permanent staff within the past 3 months Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for travel pay Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-634106.
