The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Associates daily, to deliver products on time to a customer in a safe and efficient manner.

This position reports to the Sr. Operations Manager, and is part of the Liquid Media Manufacturing team located in Logan, Utah and will be an on-site role.  At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. This is a second shift role and the expected work hours are from 1 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM.

What you will do :

• Monitoring and improving productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner
• Developing and creating training plans to maximize workforce capacity
• Leading Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals
• Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation
• Manages staffing levels in order to meet business delivery and cost goals
• Improving operating rigor and manufacturing processes
• Coaching and developing direct reports to improve the culture of the team and site
