About the Role

This is a senior executive position reporting directly to the President & CEO and overseeing a cross-functional team including Marketing PR Research and the St. Louis Film Office. The position requires in-office leadership and residency within the St. Louis region.

As the Chief Marketing Officer you will be at the helm of our marketing strategy driving innovative campaigns that captivate audiences and elevate our brand presence. Youll be instrumental in shaping our vision and ensuring that every marketing initiative aligns with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of the St. Louis destination brand to drive visitation economic impact and civic pride.
• Direct integrated marketing and communications across paid earned shared and owned media.
• Oversee digital innovation and content strategy leveraging AI data analytics and emerging technologies.
• Align marketing with broader economic development and sustainability goals.
• Guide research and analytics to track visitor trends ROI and brand performance.
• Foster strong partnerships with business civic and hospitality leaders locally and globally.
• Lead mentor and inspire a creative high-performing marketing team.
