Psychiatry - Child / Adolescent Physician at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. summary :

We are seeking board-certified Child / Adolescent Psychiatry Physicians with expertise in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) to conduct evaluations and assist Veterans in obtaining disability benefits. In this independent contractor role, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, review medical records, and prepare detailed reports for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Do you have expertise in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and a passion for helping Veterans?

We are seeking qualified physicians to join our network of independent contractors conducting Compensation and Pension (C&P) Exams for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

In this role, you will :

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of Veterans claiming service-connected TBI.
  • Review medical records and perform thorough clinical examinations.
  • Prepare detailed reports using the VA's Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) for TBI.
  • Assist Veterans in obtaining the disability benefits they deserve.

Requirements :

  • Board-certified physician with a specialization in neurology, psychiatry, or physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Strong understanding of TBI diagnosis, treatment, and long-term effects.
  • Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills.
  • Valid medical license in the state(s) you wish to serve.
  • Experience with the VA disability compensation system a plus.
