Audit Manager – Audit and Assurance
Base pay range : $100,000 – $130,000 per year. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and achievements. Eligible for annual performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive audit plans.
- Perform and manage advanced audit of Universal Service Fund contributors or beneficiaries.
- Provide coaching and supervision to audit staff.
- Oversee audit staff activities ensuring effectiveness of assigned projects.
- Provide daily support to audit staff, including communication, status updates, and guidance.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, and coordination of audit staff work.
- Review and assess audit progress, identifying potential delays or roadblocks and risk areas.
- Collaborate with senior management on audit risk identification, reporting, and evaluation.
- Facilitate remediation of deficiencies with process owners.
- Apply audit standards and performance criteria to produce quality deliverables.
- Review audit findings and communicate results to management, proposing improvements.
- Develop audit procedures and programs to achieve audit objectives.
- Handle human resources activities such as performance evaluation and staff selection.
- Provide feedback on work papers and audit reports.
- Communicate audit status and results via written reports and oral presentations.
- Coordinate outsourced audits and hiring of audit staff.
- Participate in reporting and evaluation of audit risk areas.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training.Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Chartered Accountant (CA) required; Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) desired.5–7 years of directly related professional experience.3–4 years of supervisory or management experience.2–4 years of risk assessment experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.Strong project‑management experience with a proven history of results.Ability to travel up to 15% for audits.Supervisory Responsibilities
